Momentum Engineering has provided detailed engineering and design support to recent upgrades on APA’s Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP).

Construction of the two new gas compressor stations on the GGP, at Wyloo and Neds Creek, was completed earlier this year. Both were greenfield projects involving installation of gas compression and ancillary equipment including filtration, aftercoolers and site power generation. On-site and workshop and accommodation facilities were also installed. Both stations have been successfully commissioned. Momentum Engineering assisted with process, mechanical, piping, civil and structural engineering and design works as well as supporting APA in evaluation, procurement and inspection of major equipment for both sites.

These projects, coupled with continuing work on other new and existing offshore and onshore facilities, have ensured that Momentum Engineering’s success has continued through 2009.
