JPEG - 109.3 kb

Momentum Engineering has recently been awarded an engineering and project management services contract with DBP. DBP Transmission (DBP) is the trading name of the DBNGP group of entities. DBP is responsible to the owners for the operation, maintenance and expansion of the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) – Australia’s largest gas transmission pipeline.

Momentum will be involved in the execution of studies, detailed design work and management of implementation works as required by DBP to support the pipeline operations. Momentum’s personnel have significant experience with the pipeline having recently worked as part of an integrated team for the Stage 5B upgrade of the DBNGP.

Momentum also worked over the last two years with APA Group on the expansion of the GGT (Goldfields Gas Transmission) pipeline. Both of these pipeline expansions have involved installation of additional compression. The compressor stations on the GGT are complete and operational. The upgrade works to the DBNGP are under construction with commissioning of the final installed compressor set to occur shortly.
