Momentum Engineering has undertaken engineering works for the W2WA upgrade of Water Corporation’s Beenyup Wasterwater Treatment Plant.

The Beenyup Wastewater Treatment Plant services approximately 650,000 people and treats wastewater for northern suburbs from Quinns Rock to Scarborough and inland through Dianella to Midland.

The $147 million upgrade will see the plant’s operational capacity increased and the current high levels of odour management maintained. The upgrade is essential to ensure the plant continues to operate at a high standard and superior wastewater services delivered to the expanding northern suburbs community.

The scope involved the detailed piping design for the upgrade in Autoplant 3D and the production of isometrics and detailed piping drawings for the works. The work was completed against tight construction schedule requirements.
