Empire Oil Company (WA) Limited, the Operator of the EP 389 Joint Venture, has appointed Momentum Engineering Pty Ltd to design the Gingin West-1 Gas and Condensate Plant at Gingin West in EP 389, Onshore Perth Basin. This includes the design of the pipeline of approximately 3 kilometres.

The Company is progressing negotiations to access either the Dampier to Bunbury Pipeline or the Parmelia Pipeline to transport natural gas together with a gas contract. Momentum Engineering are also to assist in this process.

Empire is to load out condensate stored from the Production Test on the Gingin West-1 wellsite as a test load of approximately 400 barrels of condensate to the BP Kwinana Oil Refinery. The Company will then settle the final Crude Oil Contract with the BP Kwinana Refinery.

The Company is negotiating a Drilling Contract with Weatherford Drilling International to drill the Red Gully-1 well. The details and timing of drilling this well will be provided upon settling this Drilling Contract. Further details of these separate programmes will be provided as they are progressed.
